Raised Bed Garden

I created an architectural design for this new small garden project. I chose the teak wood for the patio terrace because of its hardiness and colour that become slightly grey after some time when exposed to the weather. The triangular raised garden beds are strategically placed in a manner that, when viewed from the garden patio, gives the impression of a beautifully filled garden space. A gravel path guides us through the garden towards the contemporary garden shed. One of the raised beds features a tranquil pond with water plants, creating a reflective surface that mirrors the sky. Black metal raised beds and predominantly evergreen plants in various shades of green (mainly dark green and silver tones) emphasize the clean, straight architectural shapes and lines, which are subtly accentuated in the evening. The garden lighting is integrated with a mobile app, allowing control via smartphone or tablet. All the garden colours used in this project, both for plants and hard materials, are in the cool palette, offering a sense of tranquillity and ensuring they harmonize with the architectural style and modern forms of the space.
